The GDP of all EU candidate countries grew more than twice the EU average in 2024. Georgia's GDP grew by 7.5 percent compared to the EU average of 1.1 percent, the largest growth recorded among all EU candidate countries.

* Kosovo is administered under UN Security Council Resolution 1244/99. It is recognized by 22 EU member states, but not by Spain, Greece, Romania, Cyprus, and Slovakia. Its status as an independent country is contested by Serbia.
