Global users interacting with selected AI app categories 2023-2024, by age

Between January 2023 and December 2024, artificial intelligence (AI) supported companion apps had an audience of around 65 percent of global users between the age of 18 to 24. Similarly, the largest audience of AI-based learning apps was composed by young adults in the same age group. While users aged between 18 and 24 constituted the largest demographic using AI-powered apps in all examined categories.
