The share of UK doctors very satisfied, satisfied, or somewhat satisfied with their day-to-day work stood at 53 percent in 2023. This varied in the four nations. Doctors in Scotland were significantly more likely to report being satisfied than the rest of their peers. Meanwhile, medical practitioners in Northern Ireland reported being dissatisfied with work more frequently.
