According to a survey conducted in Japan in March 2024, over 88 percent of teenagers stated that they learned about the physical differences between men and women during sex education. Furthermore, around 46 percent of teenagers mentioned that they had learned about gender diversity and LGBTQ+, while other age groups had a much lower share, decreasing by age group.
