A 2024 global study explored the different ways travelers used social media. According to the survey, nearly half of the sample mentioned engaging with travel content to a high or moderate extent on social media as of the second quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, one-third of surveyed travelers reported using social media a great deal or a lot when planning a trip.
