According to a consumer survey in 2023/24, around 61 percent of consumers purchased fresh fruits and vegetables in supermarkets or hypermarkets, increasing from 57 percent in the previous year. In comparison, around 39 percent of consumers bought dairy products, decreasing from 43 percent in 2022/23.
