A July 2024 survey looked at the openness of travelers in the United States to booking high-priced activities directly through social media. While two-thirds of respondents aged 18 to 24 strongly agreed with the idea of making such bookings, 22 percent of surveyed travelers aged 45 to 54 strongly disagreed with that.
