In the fourth quarter of 2024, around 16.6 percent of affluent consumers in Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific purchased luxury items or services via social media. This was a decrease of around 3.7 percentage points compared to the third quarter of 2024, when around 20.3 percent had done the same.
