European banks rapidly embraced generative AI in 2024, with 41.18 percent having already implemented these applications by September 2024, according to a recent survey. Additionally, 34.12 percent of respondents reported they were conducting pilot tests, while 9.41 percent indicated generative AI applications were under development. Combined, this means nearly 85 percent of European banking institutions were engaged with generative AI technology in some capacity.
