When surveyed in January 2025, it was found that adults in Great Britain belonging to A, B, and C1 social grades were more likely to fly closer to home for their holidays to reduce their carbon footprint. In total, 34 percent of individuals in those income groups said they would consider flying closer to come for holidays, in comparison to 24 percent in C2, D, and E groups.
