According to a survey conducted in the United States in April 2024, transgender adults were more likely to have experienced online hate among all LGBTQ+ adults. Overall, 36 percent of transgender respondents experienced online hate from people they did not know on the internet, compared to 22 percent of all LGBTQ+ adults.
