Definition of SMEs by industry: Manufacturing, construction, and transportation, as well as other industries not mentioned below: companies whose capital does not exceed 300 million Japanese yen, or a company or an individual whose regular workforce does not exceed 300 people. Rubber product manufacturing: companies whose capital does not exceed 300 million Japanese yen, or a company or an individual whose regular workforce does not exceed 900 people.
Wholesale trade: companies whose capital does not exceed 100 million yen, or a company or an individual whose regular workforce does not exceed 100 people.
Services: companies whose capital does not exceed 50 million yen or a company or an individual whose regular workforce does not exceed 100 people. Software and information processing services: companies whose capital does not exceed 300 million yen, or a company or an individual whose regular workforce does not exceed 300 people. Hotel business: companies whose capital does not exceed 50 million yen, or a company or an individual whose regular workforce does not exceed 200 people.
Retail trade: companies whose capital does not exceed 50 million yen, or a company or an individual whose regular workforce does not exceed 50 people.
