In 2024, among the selected regions, Oregon had the most live IT capacity of data centers in the United States. However, the Southeast of the United States is expected to take Oregon's spot in the ranking in the future. Particularly, Atlanta (Georgia) along with its metro area is the largest data center hub in the Southeast.
