Consumer concerns about targeted ads in Iceland 2024

During a 2024 survey, 53 percent of responding consumers from Iceland stated that the fact that their personal data could be collected without their consent or awareness was a very important concern of theirs regarding online targeted advertising. Meanwhile, roughly one in four expressed concerns regarding the fact that personalization of advertising limited their choice and access to special offers.
