Supply chain and inventory management had the largest share of some cost decrease from generative AI use in 2024, with some 61 percent of respondents sharing that costs had decreased. The greatest cost decrease was in product or service development and knowledge management and other internal functions. Both of these reported a 19 percent share of cost reduction of over 20 percent.
