In 2023, around 87 percent of the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients surveyed in the United States who had been prescribed with any medication for their IBD were able to get all of their IBD prescription medications in the prior 12 months. Nevertheless, around 56 percent of respondents experienced problems accessing their IBD prescription due to health insurance.
