In 2024, Deutsche Bank held by far the largest asset base among German banks, with approximately **** trillion euros on its balance sheet, more than double that of second-ranked DZ Bank. Commerzbank and KfW followed closely, with assets of *** billion euros and *** billion euros, respectively. JPMorgan completed the top five, with *** billion euros in assets.
