In April 2025, a total of **** million were on the waiting list for elective treatment. However, just **** million were unique patients, meaning some patients were waiting for more than one procedure. The total number of people waiting from referral to treatment has increased since December 2008. Finally, since August 2023, there have been signs of numbers decreasing.
