As of May 2025, the federal government of India offered up to *** million U.S. dollars as reimbursement, or ** percent of expenses incurred for film animation and post-production activities in India. This included a ** percent cashback for production expenditure and an additional **** percent for Indian content. Such initiatives were introduced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to stimulate foreign direct investment inflow and employment opportunity creation.
