This represents an increase of approximately 17 percent compared to the previous year, when the production levels have been impacted by the drop in demand linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hot rolled steel products may be further processed to produce cold rolled, coated, and tubular products.

According to the source, hot rolled products are products of first transformation; these products may be further processed to produce cold rolled-, coated-, and tubular products (except seamless tubes). The values for 2000 through 2011 were taken from previous editions of the publication.
