Consumer spending on home entertainment in the United States reached a record 57.17 billion U.S. dollars in 2024, up by over 21 percent from the previous year. Spending on physical rentals continued to decrease, whilst digital formats saw an increase. SVOD subscription expenditure grew by around 10 billion U.S. dollars year-on-year.
