In 2024, 1,333 venture capital investments in China had been exited via an initial public offering (IPO). Venture capital, also called risk venture capital is a temporary equity investment into young, innovative, non-listed companies that stand out to investors despite a current lack of earning power, which is off-set in the eyes of investors by an above-average growth potential.
