This statistic shows the worldwide cocoa grindings from 1980/1981 to 2022/2023 and provides a forecast for 2023/2024. The world total of cocoa grindings is expected to surpass five million metric tons in 2022/2023. In the 2008/2009 cocoa season, only about 3.49 million metric tons of cocoa beans were ground.
