The total value of stocks traded in China decreased by 7.9 trillion U.S. dollars (-19.57 percent) in 2022 in comparison to the previous year. Nevertheless, the last two years recorded a significantly higher total value of stocks traded than the preceding years.
The total value of stocks traded is calculated by multiplying the total number of shares traded (both domestic and foreign) by their respective prices.
