In both 2023 and 2024, PwC was the leading financial advisor to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) globally in terms of number of deals. The consulting firm acted as a financial advisor to 727 deals globally in 2024, increasing approximately five percent from the previous year. Deloitte and KPMG followed in the ranking with 623 and 492 deals, respectively.
