Private equity is the OTC provision of equity capital through private or institutional investments with the participation of companies in another company for a limited time in order to generate financial benefits. It can be seen that in 2016, the private equity funds raised in the United Kingdom amounted to more than 14.6 billion euros. France and Germany completed the top three, with approximately 14.1 billion euros and 4.9 billion euros respectively.
