*Forecast Gamers' total expenses on online games in China amounted to 51.8 billion yuan in 2012 (1 yuan equals approximately 0.16 U.S. dollars and 0.12 euros as of April 2013); large client games and platform games are client based games, while webgames and social games belong to browser games; large client games include massively multiplayer online games and mutiplayer online games. Although platform games are client based, they differ on game features with massively multiplayer online games and multiplayer online games. Therefore they were calculated separately. The data were caculated and estimated in line with the financial results published by enterprises, interviews with experts and iResearch statistical forecast model.
