Wind power capacity addition to offshore facilities worldwide 2000-2024

In 2024 the new offshore wind power capacity installations reached 8,001 megawatts worldwide. This figure represents an increase compared to the previous year. In 2021, the world saw an unprecedented growth of China's offshore wind capacity by nearly 17,000 megawatts, which elevated new installations to 21,106 megawatts worldwide.
