A study on BBC radio listening in the UK between the first quarter of 2011 to the third quarter of 2024, showed that an increasing number of people consumes radio online. In the most recent quarter, digital listening accounted for 63.8 percent of listening time, up from 63.2 percent in the corresponding quarter of 2023.
