Number of domestic tourist arrivals in China 2010-2024

In 2024, approximately 5.6 billion domestic trips were taken in China. This indicated an increase in domestic travel by around 15 percent compared to the previous year. The largest proportion of domestic trips in China in 2024, around 1.5 billion trips, were taken in the third quarter of the year.
