The global aircraft fleet had approximately 28,400 aircraft in service worldwide in 2024, the largest fleet since 2020. After the recorded decrease in 2021, the global fleet increased consistently over the period given. This positive trend was expected to continue by 2035, when the size of the global aircraft fleet was forecast to reach 38,309.
