Number of international tourist arrivals in the Middle East 2005-2023

In 2023, there were 93.5 million international tourist arrivals to the Middle East region. Tourism to the region took a sharp decline in 2020 and 2021 due to travel restrictions in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, since then, numbers have outperformed pre-pandemic levels.
