McDonald's ad spend globally 2014-2024
Globally-known quick service restaurant (QSR) chain McDonald’s spent approximately 445 million U.S. dollars on advertising worldwide in 2024, down from 388.9 million the previous year. Advertising costs are divided into two categories: contributions to advertising cooperatives and production costs for radio and TV advertising. Contributions to advertising cooperatives accounted for 355 million U.S. dollars and production costs for 90 million in 2024.
