Oil company ConocoPhillips had oil reserves totaling 3.4 billion barrels in the United States in 2023. Therefore, ConocoPhillips was ranked first among the leading U.S. oil companies based on proved oil reserves. By comparison, Occidental Petroleum Corporation ranked fifth, with proved oil reserves amounting to 2.11 billion barrels that year.
