In 2022, the value of road construction in Great Britain was higher than that of railways and harbors put together. Although the output of transport infrastructure has fluctuated during the past decades, it has had an overall positive growth trend. In 2021 and 2022, the construction value of those types of infrastructures soared, reaching 23.6 billion British pounds in the latter year.
