In 2023/24, approximately 7.4 thousand metric tons of barley were exported from the United Kingdom to countries outside the European Union. Exports of barley to non European Union countries have reached their peak in 2015/16 at a value of approximately 656 thousand metric tons. In the following season, there was a drastic decrease to approximately 49 thousand metric tons.
