Laptops were the second most popular means of browsing the internet, with desktop computers achieving just nine percent.

Figures for games consoles, e-readers, netbooks, smart watches and other portable devices such as iPod touch were not included, as less than one percent of respondents reported using these as their preferred device to browse the internet.
