A survey among internet users in the United Kingdom found that as of the third quarter of 2024, 71.1 percent of respondents stated that they played video games on any device. Smartphone gaming was the most popular by a wide margin — over five in ten online users in the United Kingdom played games on their mobile phones. Console gaming was ranked second with a 30 percent usage reach.
