In 2020, the number of slightly injured cyclists aged 16 to 59 years amounted to more than 9,369, making this the age group with the highest casualty figures. The number of young cyclists under the age of 16 who were slightly injured equaled over 1,292, while just over 932 adult cyclists over the age of 60 were slightly injured on UK roads in the same year.
