The number of acquisitions reached its peak in 2022 with 810 foreign acquisitions. This number represents a slight increase compared to the previous year, when acquisitions carried out by foreign companies in the UK amounted to 789. In 2024, the number of foreign acquisition in the UK amounted to 686.
