The share of the global gross domestic product (GDP) adjusted for purchasing power parity (PPP) in Syria stood at approximately 0.16 percent in 2010. Between 1980 and 2010, the share rose by around 0.02 percentage points, though the increase followed an uneven trajectory rather than a consistent upward trend.
