In 2024, an average Canadian adult spent 17.3 hours per week watching TV. This figure represents a decline in TV consumption of close to nine percent year-on-year. The second-raked medium based on time spent was radio, with Canadians devoting close to six hours per week, seeing a double-digit drop in listening in the same period.
