The largest merger and acquisition (M&A) transaction in Latin America in 2024 was the acquisition of Santos Brasil Participacoes SA by Merit Corp Sal CMA CGM SA, which was worth approximately 2.8 billion U.S. dollars. The second-largest deal was the acquisition of Fideicomiso F/00939 - Fibra Terrafina by FIBRA Prologis, worth 2.1 billion U.S. dollars.
