In Czechia, the total number of automated teller machines (ATMs) seems to have reached a plateau: although the total number of ATMs in the Czechia from 2009 to 2023 has increased over time, it increased only slightly in the last few years. In 2023, a total of around five thousand cash machines were operational in Czechia.
Although this number remains quite stable, payments with debit cards has steadily increased in the country.
