Back-to-school: Product categories U.S. consumers plan to purchase 2016, by location
The statistic depicts the results of an online survey conducted by Deloitte from June 22 to 27, 2016. U.S. parents who had at least one child attending school in grades K-12 this fall and who intended to purchase back-to-school items this year were asked if they plan to buy in-store or online or both in-store and online. About 64 percent of respondents indicated that they plan to buy back-to-school clothes or shoes in brick-and-mortar stores.
