As of December 2024, Ontario had the most food and beverage retailers among all provinces in Canada - there were 10,013 food and beverage stores located in Canada’s most populous province. Quebec and British Columbia ranked in second and third places, with a total of 7,011 and 3,722 stores respectively. Yukon had just 31 stores at that time.
