In the first half of 2024, fragrances and cosmetics ranked as the top-selling category in Brazil's retail e-commerce by order volume, accounting for 28 percent of all online purchases. Close behind, food and beverages made up 23 percent of the total online orders.
A Brazilian brand that went from door-to-door sales to billions in revenue

The company became so famous in the country that nearly all Brazilians know the brand and around 70 percent have used its products. Furthermore, the brand earned the title of the most popular beauty and health online shop in the country in 2023.

O Boticário’s biggest Brazilian competitor is the cosmetic brand Natura&Co. The Brazilian cosmetic brand, founded in 1969 and gained strength not only in its home country but also worldwide, is currently present in over 60 countries. In 2023, Natura&Co reached a net revenue of almost 27 billion Brazilian reals. Moreover, Natura &Co total assets amounted to around 43 billion Brazilian reals in the same year.
