Gross public social expenditure for disabled people in France 2009-2023
In 2023, the total public expenditure for social assistance to people with disabilities reached nearly 10.3 billion euros. This amount has been steadily increasing since 2009. In that year, the expenditure amounted to 5.95 billion euros. Three types of services constituted the allowances for people with disabilities: disability compensation benefits, third-party compensation allowance, and reception and accommodation costs in institutions and private homes.
