British continuously-cast steel production overall decreased with noticeable oscillation during the period given, and the volume was approximately 5.6 million metric tons in 2023. Between 2012 and 2014, the production level of such product increased and peaked at 11.95 million metric tons. In the following year, this figure dropped sharply and remained mostly the same until 2022. That year, approximately 5.9 million metric tons of continuously-cast steel produced in the United Kingdom, which was an 18 percent lower than the previous year's figure.
