Most important information sources for homebuyers in the U.S. 2024

Real estate agents were the most important source of information among American homebuyers, a July 2024 survey found. Approximately 86 percent of the Americans who purchased a home in the year preceding the survey had consulted with a real estate agent. The second most popular channel was a mobile or tablet search device, with about 69 percent of respondents having sought information through that channel.
